Theatre and Film
Baobab Theatre is an award-winning independent theatre and film production company. We have worked with professional, youth and community performers to create a range of small, mid and large scale theatre productions. Our work is ensemble-based and features a blend of physical theatre and multimedia. It is often hilarious, sometimes tragic but always powerful and exciting.

We love telling stories, we create our own and if you want, we can tell yours.

We relish the opportunity to work with, and develop new texts; we equally have a passion for re-interpreting the classics in new and vibrant ways. We have a strong foundation in education and have developed a range of projects for schools and colleges.
Our film work is equally varied and we have produced a range of short poignant films, documentaries and film projects that seek to empower those who often do not possess a voice.
